190 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Education and Science further to Parliamentary Question No. 143 of 3 November 1999, the nominating bodies which have not nominated to the governing body of the Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown, thereby delaying the appointment of a director. [22936/99]

My Department is awaiting the submission by County Dublin VEC of the nominations they have received from City of Dublin VEC and County Kildare VEC. It is understood that the two nominations will be formally conveyed to my Department after the next meeting of County Dublin VEC on 15 November 1999.
