There have been three non-Civil Service appointments to my office since the date of my own appointment as Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources.

The names of the appointees are as follows: Ms Sinead McSweeney, employment in the Department ceased with effect from July 1998; Mr. Kevin Judd, personal assistant from November 1998; and Ms Linda Ward, Dáil secretary.

The total expenses paid in respect of the above-mentioned persons during the period June 1997 to 10 November 1999 is £523.90.
