108 Mr. Kenny asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if Ireland will participate in IT Asia 2000 in New Delhi in February 2000; if she will give her imprimatur to this important occasion; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [23469/99]

Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Ms Harney):

I am considering whether Ireland should participate in this proposed event. All aspects of possible involvement are being assessed and interested parties are being consulted. It is expected that a decision will be made shortly.
