78 Mr. Creed asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if she has received a request for a permit to employ a person (details supplied); and if she will arrange for the issue of a permit in view of the company circumstances and the specific skill requirements contained in the application. A renewal application for a work permit on behalf of the individual concerned was received by my Department on 19 October 1999. My Department has sought further details from the employer and when these are received a decision will be made on the application.
