Vol. 511 No. 2

Written Answers. - Departmental Publications.

Seymour Crawford

Question:

134 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs the reason the location and other details of the information offices in County Monaghan are not included in appendix 2 of the newsletter circulated by his Department to all widows and widowers and old age contributory and non-contributory pensioners; if he will rectify this anomaly; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23904/99]

The primary purpose of the newsletter issued recently by my Department was to enable, facilitate and support people in identifying and accessing their social welfare entitlements. The information included a list of the Department's offices through which people can obtain further information on an ongoing basis. Regrettably, due to an administrative oversight, details of the relevant offices in the Monaghan area were omitted when the newsletter was being finalised. I am now making arrangements to have this information issued to all people in County Monaghan for association with the newsletter they received recently.
