Question:

360 Mr. Higgins (Dublin West) asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the action, if any, he has taken in response to a letter sent to him (details supplied) regarding alleged crimes in Clonmel, County Tipperary. [25203/99]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that this matter has been fully investigated. I understand that a file on the incident has been forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions, whose directions are awaited.
