219 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will publish a report by a person (details supplied) which states that at least 50 extra pharmacy graduates are required each year to meet the needs of hospitals and other sectors. [25562/99]
The report referred to by the Deputy is entitled, Assessing Supply in relation to Prospective Demand for Pharmacists in Ireland, and was undertaken on behalf of the Higher Education Authority by Peter Bacon and Associates, economic consultants. The report was published by the authority on 18 November 1999 and I have arranged for the authority to furnish a copy of the report to the Deputy.
