279 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children the level of funding available for the public health programme in each of the years from 1997 to date. [27047/99]

The Deputy's question is interpreted as relating to public funding of the health service. Figures for non-capital funding for the years 1997 to 1999 are as follows:–
