299 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the plans, if any, he has to change the driving regulations for people with epilepsy. [26757/99]

The Road Traffic (Licensing of Drivers) Regulations, 1999, which came into operation on 15 November 1999, had reduced the minimum attack-free period governing certification of fitness to drive for persons with epilepsy from two years to one year.
