Question:

333 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of gardaí in each Garda division; the crime rate in each division; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26655/99]

The following table sets out the number of gardaí in each Garda division as of 9 December 1999. The table does not include the Garda College, Garda Headquarters and Harcourt Square. The table also shows the number of indictable offences recorded by the Garda during 1998, as set out in the annual report of An Garda Síochána.
