337 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if it is accepted procedure that persons detained in Store Street Garda station on suspicion of street trading should be subjected to a full strip search as has occurred within the past week. [26715/99]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that no person arrested on suspicion of street trading was the subject of a strip search during the past two weeks at Store Street Garda station, and that all such persons were searched in accordance with the law.
