Emmet Stagg

Question:

350 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Finance if the Commissioners of Public Works has received details of the part of Newtown House site, Leixlip, County Kildare, which is being made available to it for the new Garda station at Leixlip, County Kildare; if the planning procedures have commenced; the timeframe for completion; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1305/00]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 335 and 350 together.

The Commissioners are awaiting details from Kildare County Council of the precise site that will be made available for the provision of a new Garda station.

Until the precise details are available, I am not in a position to indicate a timeframe for the completion of the project.
