Question:

366 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Finance if the Commissioners of Public Works have received the required information from Kildare County Council in connection with flooding prob lems at Hazelhatch Celbridge, County Kildare; if the feasibility stage of the flood relief scheme will proceed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1954/00]

A report from Kildare County Council has been forwarded to the consulting engineers in question together with additional information relating to the incidents and extent of flooding in the Hazelhatch area. The consultants are setting up a meeting with Kildare County Council and a feasibility report is expected by the Commissioners of Public Works by the end of February.
