Dan Neville

Question:

165 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a REP scheme payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick. [2445/00]

The person named has been paid in full for his first three years in the rural environment protection scheme. He was invited to apply for his fourth year payment and the application was due to be returned by 31 January 1999, but to date my Department has not received his application. I should point out that there is a penalty system in place for late applications.

Michael Finucane

Question:

166 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when an outstanding REP scheme payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick. [2457/00]

The person named applied for his fourth year payment under the rural environment protection scheme on 3 November 1999. He was selected at random for an on-farm inspection and this was carried out on 20 January 2000. His application for payment is currently being processed and payment will issue within two weeks.

Jim Higgins

Question:

167 Mr. Higgins (Mayo) asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reason a person (details supplied) in County Mayo has not been paid headage. [2463/00]

The 1999 area aid application for the person named has been fully processed and payment of his entitlement under the 1999 cattle headage scheme will issue to him within the next seven days.
