168 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a farm retirement pension will be approved for a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2464/00]

The person named applied for an early retirement pension on 29 April 1999. However, as several items of core documentation were missing, the application was returned to him on 4 October 1999. Since that date my Department has received no communication from the applicant.
