181 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Finance if relief of VRT and VAT on a purchase of a new vehicle will be approved for a person (details supplied) in County Limerick under the Disabled Drivers' and Passengers' (Tax Concessions) Regulations, 1994. [2478/00]
I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that an application on behalf of the person referred to in the question for relief under the disabled drivers' and disabled passengers' scheme was received by them on 13 January 2000 and that payment was authorised on 25 January 2000. A settlement cheque will issue shortly.
