Vol. 513 No. 5

Written Answers. - Orthodontic Service.

Question:

55 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 with cerebral palsy will be able to access much needed orthodontic treatment after five years on a waiting list; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2945/00]

As the provision of orthodontic treatment to eligible persons in Dublin is the statutory responsibility of the Eastern Health Board I have asked the chief executive officer of the Eastern Health Board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
