116 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if substantial payments due to persons (details supplied) in County Longford will be made immediately under the brucellosis eradication scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4422/00]

The material for the essential grant categorisation was only received from the herdowner by the local district veterinary office last week. This is now being processed and the appropriate compensation will be paid to the person named at an early date.
