The position remains as stated in my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 214 on Wednesday, 26 January 2000. I visited the site of the proposed school at Lumville, Curragh, County Kildare, on 21 December 1999, and met both political representatives and representatives of the board of management of Gaelscoil Chill Dara. I am carefully considering the various comments and suggestions made during the visit, including the views of the Department of Education and Science, and I hope to be in a position to arrive at a decision shortly.
