I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21, and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Marian McGennis – the need for the Minister for Foreign Affairs to initiate an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death of a person (details supplied) in London; (2) Deputy Gay Mitchell – the need for new Government policy to deal with drug abusers, thieves and muggers taking over graveyards and discouraging mourners from visiting them; (3) Deputy Timmins – the plans for the Real Tennis Court, Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2; (4) Deputy Kirk – the need to initiate discussions with both the motor and insurance industries to explore the possibility of speed control devices being fitted to cars leading to lower insurance premium quotes; (5) Deputy Perry – the need for funding to be made available to Kilmactranny national school, Boyle, County Sligo, for structural and school ground improvements; (6) Deputy Naughten – the need to provide additional resources for orthodontic treatment in the Western Health Board and, in particular, for a dental service for children under 12 years of age in the south Roscommon area; (7) Deputy Deenihan – the urgent need for immediate resources to reduce the waiting list of 4,500 patients at Tralee General Hospital; (8) Deputy Ó Caoláin – the need for testing of all schools for radon gas in light of the discovery that 13 schools have high radon levels; (9) Deputy Shatter – the arctic conditions in the Dublin Family Circuit Court and the regular occupation of part of the building by drug abusers; (10) Deputy Breeda Moynihan-Cronin – the urgent need to alter the applications procedure for funding for the socially monitored alarm; (11) Deputy Hogan – the need to consider Kilkenny city as a suitable location for the decentralisation of a Government Department; (12) Deputy Upton – the need to devise a programme of food safety training for all prospective workers in the food industry in light of the salmonella outbreak in Louth, Meath and Cavan and (13) Deputy Wall – the provision of funding to the hyperactive attention deficit disorder and the attention deficit disorder support groups.
