Vol. 515 No. 6

Written Answers. - Garda Stations.

Billy Timmins

Question:

236 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the plans, if any, he has to renovate the Garda married quarters at Dunlavin, County Wicklow; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6695/00]

The long-term plan is to provide a new basic unit type Garda station at Dunlavin. I am aware, however, that the present official accommodation there is in a poor state of repair. The work needed to it has been costed and I understand that it is currently being considered for prioritisation at divisional level.
