114 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will give details of the grievances of the teachers from the Kylemore College of Music, Dublin 10, in relation to their contracts; and his response to their requests. [8381/00]
The Deputy may be aware that my Department recently sanctioned the filling of a number of teaching posts in the school in question in a permanent capacity.
Discussions are currently taking place with the school authorities and the teacher union concerned in relation to the contracts of employment of the teachers proposed for permanent appointment. It is expected that these discussions will be concluded shortly.
