Approval for the establishment a 25 place Youthreach centre in Cabra has been conveyed by my Department to the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee.
At the end of 1999 funding was made available to the VEC to purchase a site on part of the campus of the Dominican Convent, Cabra. These premises are in need of upgrading and refurbishment. It is expected that the necessary work on the premises will be completed to enable Youthreach to open in November 2000.
