Vol. 516 No. 4

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Jack Wall

Question:

81 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Kildare will receive an appointment for a hip replacement operation at Tallaght Hospital. [8335/00]

The responsibility for the provision of service at the Adelaide and Meath Hospital incorporating the National Children's Hospital rests, in the first instance, with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. I have, therefore, asked the regional chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.
