383 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the sections of the Department which restrict the time available to take calls form the public; the length of time this has been ongoing; the nature of the restrictions; the proposals, if any, he has to remedy this; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation (Dr. McDaid):

My Department is available to take calls from the public during normal office hours from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., Monday to Friday. There are no restrictions placed by any section on calls from the public within these hours at present.
