288 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Education and Science when he will appoint a resource teacher to the Don national school, Cartoon More, Ballaghaderreen, County Roscommon, in view of the fact that it has been looking for a resource teacher for the past three years and has at least two children who are in need of resources education; the reason for the delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have asked my Department's inspectorate to examine and report on the level of resource teacher support required by children attending the school in question.

As soon as the report is received and considered, my Department will be in touch with the school authorities.
