201 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will increase the level of grant assistance to group sewerage schemes in line with the new level of grants announced for water schemes. [11899/00]
The level of grant assistance for group sewerage schemes is being examined by the National Rural Water Monitoring Committee, which advises my Department in relation to rural water policy, and I will carefully consider any recommendations that may emanate from that examination.
