149 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will have arrangements made for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 to have a hernia operation scheduled in Tallaght hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12312/00]
The responsibility for the provision of services in Adelaide and Meath Hospitals incorporating the National Children's Hospital now rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. I have, therefore, asked the regional chief executive to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply directly to him.
