The position remains as stated in my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 94 on Wednesday, 23 February 2000. I visited the site of the proposed school at Lumville, Curragh, County Kildare on 21 December 1999. I met both political representatives and representatives of the board of management of Gaelscoil Chill Dara. I am carefully considering the various comments and suggestions made during the visit, including the views of the Department of Education and Science, and I hope to be in a position to arrive at a decision in the near future.
