593 Mrs. B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Education and Science when funding will be made available for the upgrading of the gymnasium at the community college, Rathmore, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12945/00]

The building unit of my Department has requested a consultant architect to prepare a condition report with cost estimates on the works required to the physical education hall at Rathmore community school.

When this report is to hand the matter will receive further consideration.
