111 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the total tonnage of fish landed by the Irish fishing fleet in each of the past five years as a percentage of the total European catch; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12914/00]
I attach a table setting out the Irish catch as a percentage of the total European catch of fishery products for the North East Atlantic region. The Deputy should note that the region covers EU, third country and international waters. I am sending the Deputy separately a map showing the fishing areas within this region.
