113 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if he will make plans for the removal of material from the sea bed and foreshore of Dublin Bay along the Clontarf promenade; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12682/00]

It is not normal practice for my Department to remove such material. In any event, proposals to assist such removal would in the first instance have to be brought forward by the relevant local authority and-or port company.
