Question:219 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children the plans, if any, he has to establish an interim national licensing system for traditional and alternative medicines in order to combat delays in drafting European legislation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Irish Medicines Board is currently examining, at my request, the nature of the controls which would be applied in the context of an interim national licensing scheme for "traditional and alternative" medicinal products.
