Vol. 519 No. 2

Written Answers. - Orthodontic Service.

Question:

155 Mr. Hayes asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in Dublin 24 will receive orthodontic care in view of the fact this person has had to wait three years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13282/00]

As the provision of orthodontic treatment to eligible persons in Dublin 24 is the statutory responsibility of the Eastern Regional Health Authority, I have asked the regional chief executive of that health authority to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
