199 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will immediately make funds available for the extension of the sewerage scheme at Dromore West, County Sligo; the amount of money that will be made available; when the allocation will be granted; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has no proposal from Sligo County Council in relation to the extension of the sewerage scheme at Dromore West. Neither was the proposal included in the schemes submitted by the council in response to the Department's request for each local authority to undertake a fresh assessment of the need for capital works in its area and to pre pare a prioritised list of projects based on the assessment. The assessments will be taken into account in the framing of water services investment programmes for this and future years under the National Development Plan 2000-2006.
