343 Mr. U. Burke asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason for the delay in allowing the work and refurbishing at a school (details supplied) in County Galway to take place; and when this work will start. [14358/00]
A number of applications has been received from the managerial authorities of the school to which the Deputy refers. Each application has had the effect of increasing the scope of the works required at the school. Officials of my Department will be in direct contact with the school soon to expedite these matters.
