Vol. 519 No. 7

Written Answers. - Inflation Rates.

Thomas P. Broughan

Question:

81 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Finance the current inflation rates in the 15 EU countries and in the remaining OECD members. [14801/00]

The current inflation rates for the 15 EU countries and the remaining OECD members are set out in the following tables. The inflation rates in table 1 for EU countries are based on the harmonised index of consumer prices and, as such, are directly comparable. The rates for other OECD members included in table 2 are based on national consumer price indices and are not necessarily compiled on a comparable basis.
