100 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs if he will request his officials in the community development programme to mediate in respect of any problems arising between a local authority and a local traveller development group (details supplied) in Dublin 22. [15703/00]
My Department does not have a mediation role in issues which arise between projects funded under the community development programme and local authorities. However, Department officials have brought this matter to the attention of the Department of the Environment and Local Government, for whatever intervention may be deemed appropriate by that Department.
