316 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Education and Science when the ICT grants for the remedial and resource teacher service in primary schools, as administered by NCTE, will be paid out in view of the fact that they were promised from 25 November 1999 but no money has yet issued; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the ICT grant to which he refers was issued recently by my Department. The grant of £700 is towards the cost of hardware-software for each remedial and resource teacher post in primary schools.
