105 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the alterations made in the past two years to all piers and ports in County Mayo; the work and development in each case; the contribution made by the local authority in each case; the work programme to be carried out in 2000; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18284/00]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that funding was provided under my Department's fishery harbours development programme in 1999 for improvement works at the following piers and harbours in County Mayo, the details of which are set out below. Mayo County Council agreed to contribute 25% of the cost of these projects.
