Vol. 522 No. 2

Written Answers. - Schools Building Projects.

Brendan Howlin

Question:

451 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Education and Science the current position in relation to the building of additional accommodation for the FCJ secondary school, Bunclody, County Wexford; if he will detail the schedule for further stages up to completion of this project; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18074/00]

Plans for the provision of additional accommodation at FCJ Bunclody are progressing through architectural planning. My Department is awaiting a complete stage five submission, that is, bill of quantities from the school authority.

When the full documentation in respect of this stage has been received and considered by my Department, the matter of allowing the project proceed to tender will be decided.
