Vol. 522 No. 3

Written Answers. - Orthodontic Service.

Austin Currie

Question:

183 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Health and Children when orthodontic treatment, which began on 24 February 2000 at St. James's Hospital, Dublin 8 (details supplied) will be continued for a 14 year old person. [18784/00]

As the provision of orthodontic treatment to eligible persons in Dublin 20 is the statutory responsibility of the Eastern Regional Health Authority, I have asked the regional chief executive of that health authority to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
