Question:90 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reason an EU farm retirement pension has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway. [18590/00]
Written Answers. - Farm Retirement Scheme.
The spouse of the person named made an application for an early retirement pension on 16 December 1999. However a number of supporting documents were missing. The applicant's solicitor was informed of this on 23 February 2000 and has been in contact by telephone with the Department's local office, where the application is being processed, on a number of occasions since then. Until the outstanding documentation is received, the processing of this application cannot be finalised.
