126 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason members of health boards are paid 7p a mile less in subsistence allowance than members of local authorities and vocational education committees for attending meetings and functions; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The mileage rate paid to members of health boards for attending meetings and functions is equal to that which is paid to members of local authorities and vocational education committees.
