Question:142 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources when forestry grant payments will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21939/00]

Outstanding payments have now been made to the person in question except in respect of one area where it is proposed to build a house. The forest service of my Department is currently in correspondence with the applicant in respect of an appropriate reduction in the afforestation grant in that particular case.
