153 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if a breakdown is available of the number of private houses built from 1995 to 1999, including holiday homes, second dwellings and first time buyers; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22579/00]
Details of private new house completions from 1995 to 1999 and of grants paid to first time purchasers of new dwellings are contained in the housing statistics bulletins, copies of which are available in the library. Information in relation to first time purchasers of new houses who do not qualify for the new house grant and the proportion of new houses accounted for by holiday homes and second dwellings is not available in my Department.
