Question:208 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will provide a place in primary school for a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22572/00]
Written Answers. - School Placement.
The child in question is not attending school at present. However, my Department has sanctioned home tuition in order to meet his educational needs.
I can assure the Deputy that efforts to secure a suitable school placement for the person, through the involvement of my Department's inspectorate, are continuing.
