135 Mr. Power asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the reason a person (details supplied) in County Kildare, who was granted a work permit, was sent back to Latvia; and if he has satisfied himself that proper procedure was followed. [22813/00]

Neither my Department nor the immigration authorities had any involvement in the return of the person in question to Latvia.
