I am informed by the Garda authorities that crime statistics are compiled on the basis of Garda operational areas, which do not always coincide with postal districts. The following table, however, lists the number of indictable assaults recorded and detected for the Garda district of Blanchardstown. This district covers the areas of Blanchardstown, Cabra and Finglas Garda stations.
