77 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a decision will be made on an appeal by a person (details supplied) in County Cork in respect of the Department's decision to refuse to pay him a beef premium. [25257/00]

The herdowner lodged an appeal concerning his 1999 special beef premium application. The appeal was examined and the herdowner was notified on 27 October 2000 that his appeal was unsuccessful.

78 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive his headage payment. [25258/00]

The person named will be paid his entitlement under the 2000 cattle headage scheme within the next seven days.

Payment of £707.47, representing the 60% advance under the 2000 suckler cow premium scheme, has now issued to the person named.

79 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the current position regarding payment of sheep headage for a person (details supplied) in County Donegal. [25259/00]

The 2000 area aid application for the person named has been fully processed with no outstanding errors and the area for payment purposes has been determined at 12.00 hectares. Any payments due will issue as soon as possible.

80 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the position regarding payment of sheep headage to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal. [25260/00]

The person named included the same parcel of land twice on his 2000 area aid application form. The area aid unit is prepared to consider this as an obvious error and will reduce the area on his application without penalty.

Consequently the area aid application for the person named has now been fully processed with no outstanding errors. The area for payment purposes has been determined at 52.71 hectares. Any payments due will issue as soon as possible.

The 2000 area aid application for the person named has been fully processed with no outstanding errors and the area for payment purposes has been determined at 81.18 hectares. Any payments due will issue as soon as possible.
